Railay Beach, Krabi

Railay is somewhere between Jurassic Park and The Beach. Only obtainable by long tail boat, it brings a very mystical feeling when you head round the peninsular, as you are greeted by gigantic stack formations that are seemingly straight out of Pandora. These cliff faces are known as some of the best climbing spots in the world and I can really see why. I spent 2 days climbing with a laid back soul called Max, a long haired hippy type who’s lived on Railay for 25 years.

I spent quite a lot of time working in the first 4 days here but after it calmed down I was able to explore this paradise.
